Personal blog. I post what I like. Welcome!

My name's Josh. I tend to post a lot of stuff from the Final Fantasy fandom, but this isn't an FF-exclusive blog so you can expect to see other things too. If there's anything you'd like to know about me don't hesitate to ask!

queenhyrule:

it’s both strange and amazing to see how a fictional character (or more) can help you and be your support through a bunch of bullshit in life.

sure they’re just fictional people, but that attachment you have sure isn’t. even if it’s just a teeny little pick-me-up to make you smile or laugh, it’s worth remembering that they left that impact on you.

gameological:

"No Final Fantasy game has been so committed to loneliness as Final Fantasy VI, though, which is strange considering it has the largest cast of colorful world-saving heroes. Stranger still, they fail to save much of anything, and the world ends, at least for a while. But the World Of Ruin isn’t a place for nihilistic moping or stoic melodrama, though there are dollops of both here and there. Final Fantasy VI uses its gutted world to explore how people overcome failure and loss to build hope in new lives.”

wear your armor

whether it’s makeup, a band tshirt, your fandom pins, tattoos, jewelry, your favorite ripped pair of jeans, or something no one else can touch or see like your favorite song repeating like a mantra in your head, the sound of your own heartbeat, or the knowledge that you were brave enough to get out of bed today when everything else inside you said “no”

wear your armor and kick ass

I like this. I like this a lot.
